Today I finally got to experience Plant St. Market in Winter Garden, Florida. I’ve been dying to go, but it always seems so far from wherever else I need to be that day. At first glance, the whole place seems adorable, but it’s nothing compared to what’s inside. Step through the doors, the walls are lined with cute shops and eateries. We ventured to the far right side with the intent of making a walk through and immediately got distracted by the very first booth we pass: Collective Kindness.
Collective Kindness (Insta: @collectivekindness) is an adorable succulent and candle shop run by a mother-daughter duo. The candles are hand poured and once they run out, the beautiful bowls can be brought back in to be refilled at a very reasonable price or given back for a 25% future purchase discount. Even though I wanted to buy everything in this adorable shop, I only allowed myself one succulent.
Next, we (my wedding planner friend Rochelle –learn about her in my A Hint of Joy Style Shoot post– and I) headed over to Press’d Juice Bar & Kitchen (Insta: @pressdjuicebar) for some delicious vegan lunch (I highly recommend the Acai bowl and the Tofu Eggless Salad.)
Later on, we explored the other shops, some which sold local honey, gourmet ice pops, sushi and the biggie: Crooked Can Brewing Company, which was very cool but it was a little too early to kick back a beer.
After we felt accomplished at the market, we headed two blocks over to an Adjectives Market, a few smaller boutiques and a beautiful fountain.
